Tomatillos are the key ingredient in many fresh and cooked Mexican dishes. Closely related to the tomato, they are also known as husk tomatoes. As the main ingredient in salsa verde, the tomatillo adds a fresh, slightly tangy flavour to green salsas. This large size can is more than enough to make a large batch of salsa or green sauce for enchiladas.
